Our sleepy village is awake..............

There's a buzz in the air today, deep in the heart of Oxfordshire in a sleepy village called "Ewelme" where I happen to live an exciting event takes place, I  know... its true, Me and little Willoughby will bump into more than just a pigeon and hear more than the sound of a crow today as the village is full of lorries and people, it has been taken over! They are Filming the remake of "Les Mis" EEEEkkkkkk!"!!!!! Hugh Jackman and his fine torso is somewhere not so far away right as I write, I've been acting Nonchalant all morning walking round the village talking with a very high over the top squeaky voice to Willoughby and flicking my hair .....ALOT!!!! it felt strange though, I had the feeling like I was going through someone elses knicker drawer, like I shouldn't be here- all awkward and fluttery, hahahaha! silly me!!!!

I perched on top of the slide in the park trying to get just a wee glimpse!!!

Not even a Whiff!

Then I spotted this... and thought this must be him hahahaha

Nope not a chance!

I thought I might see this...

But then got told it would be more like this....

EEEEEEEEKKKKKK scary!!!

and ended up only seeing loads of fake dead!!!!

These were the fake graves in our graveyard cause it seems apparently Ewelme just doesn't have enough dead people!
so if you happen to watch the re-make of "Les Miserables" in the future , remember you saw these fake dead people here first!!!!! hahahaha

The woodpecker was the final straw.....

Maybe I shall never sleep again and should therfore get use to seeing the world through squinty puffy eyes and maybe discuss the possibilities of how I might plug myself in to recharge my battery. Squinty.. funny word ,is it even a word??? Its not certain anything I say can be trusted through the fog that use to be my vision and focus, willoughby has reverted back to being new born at two years old and apart from the lactating breasts and fixed grin of over whelming pride and slight insanity I feel the same as I did when I'd just had him.You know its bad when the sound of early morning bird song sounds more like evil cackling pixies pulling the wings off of sleep fairies and without realising you're imagining yourself with an air rifle insanely popping the unsuspecting birds of their perches .The wood pecker was the final straw. Tomorrow I shall expect a group of squirrels to form a brass band.

Don't ask I too am astonished that I was able to find a picture of a squirrel brass band! hahahahahaha

Mothers day!!!!!

Hey there Guys how was your mothers day????? mine was lovely despite being so tired i can barely open my eyes as willoughby has been poorly, but we made it to the cotswold wild life park regardless, I love the fact that I have four boys ranging from 14 to 2 years old and they all equally loved the stinky camels and the roaring tigers! I fell in love with Giraffes and couldn't bare to be dragged away I lost myself in their gorgeous demeanor, and serene nature  I could have watched them all day, Enchanting and eyelashes that any footballlers wife would have been proud of.

A drawn on smile

Just a little girl dreaming of a grown up land
reflections of motherhood in the mirror in her hand
a drawn on smile and scribble on her face
a baby doll in her arms dressed in lace
pouring the tea from a plastic teapot
blow it sweet dolly for its very hot
the mother within has started to grow
but she only plays and doesn't know
for now she packs up motherhood and puts it to bed
Along with baa baa the lamb, dolly and ted

Just a young woman dreaming of a child like land
reflections of childhood in the mirror in her hand
smiles and poos with a cute little face
A baby in her arms dressed in lace
pours the teas but no time to stop
clothes to wash and a floor to mop
The mother within has fully grown
the childish games have up and flown
now she watches her little one play
and this is her moment her special day!

wellingtons and wiggly worms........

Little grubby hands and a heart full of mischief
A caterpillar munching a crunchy green leaf
a lady bird with spots that add up to her age
hide beneath the leaves of the lavender and sage
mud thats squidgy and bugs that tickle
grubby little mitts and worms that wiggle
nothing better than garden germs
in my wellingtons with wiggly worms.....
Pebbles in water and side order of mud pies
reflections of my childhood shine in his eyes
wellies crunch the stones on the garden path
splash in a puddles or is it a fairy bath
Mud thats squidgy and bugs that tickle
grubby mitts and worms that wriggle
nothing better than garden germs
in my wellingtons with wiggly worms......

Good old fashioned fun in the sun you can;t beat it!!!!
